We have come together around a singular challenge: to revolutionize access to vision care on this planet. We’ve worked hard to create a workspace and company culture that values diversity, promotes experimentation and empathy, and emboldens our people to do great things.
Our pace is fast and agile - we thrive in a highly dynamic work environment where independence, risk, and generative thinking are embraced and encouraged. At any given moment, you’ll find us testing our own eyesight and developing new prototypes on Chewbacca, our beloved 3D printer. We work together, play together, and regularly devour ethnic food together. Plus, you can’t beat the location. We’re near the largest maker communities in the USA, and walking distance to MIT and Harvard.
We look for talent that exemplifies passion, ingenuity, curiosity, courage and selflessness. Help us unleash our human potential and make history - together, we will change the world.
We are looking for a senior Android Developer to help lead our app development. We need someone who has experience with conceptualizing and implementing clear and concise UIs for android apps that have reached the market. Working closely with the founder/CTO and VP of Engineering, we'll rely on you to design custom UI components in a highly interactive experience -- this is a very important task in making our device usable for mass market. If we're successful, this device will reach and bring eye glasses to hundreds of millions around the globe, and change eye care forever. Reply to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
Our interns don’t make copies or pour coffee. They build early prototypes, solve tricky engineering problems, conduct research, develop class projects, publish papers and register patents. If you’ve got a specific project you’d like to pursue or are interested in solving one of our many design challenges, apply now! We are specifically looking for:
That’s ok! We’re open to hearing about how we might work together. Let us know email@example.com
We do not work with recruiting agencies.
We believe the Recruiting business model is damaging to companies like ours. Your business incentives are based entirely on the rotation of people among your accounts. The more they rotate, the bigger your profits.
Yes, yes... Your company might be different. But our policy is to not work with any placement agencies.
